30 million reasons to be part of National Diabetes Month
NOVEMBER 11, 2015
For millions of Americans, managing and treating diabetes can be an all-consuming task. Not only has the cost of diabetes treatments more than doubled in the past 20 years, but many patients face critical barriers to care.
We know that needs to change. That’s why we’re inviting you to join in our efforts during National Diabetes Month to highlight the important work already underway to improve care delivery for patients managing diabetes.
As the voice for Medicare seniors and a broad array of partners, the MACC Task Force is a driving force behind efforts to enhance care coordination for beneficiaries. Each week, we’ll be highlighting the programs and services that have made a difference for patients. These efforts are wide-ranging—from interviews with the CMC’s expert partners to tips from Medicare Advantage beneficiaries about managing their condition to a new “Diabetes Issue Brief” highlighting best practices in coordinated care.
Follow the release of these materials on the MACC Task Force webpage.
Join us this month as we work together to stop diabetes for good. Together, we can help millions of seniors and their families. All it takes is your support.
