John from New Mexico Thanks Congress for Helping Protect Medicare Advantage!
APRIL 06, 2017
Meet John, fellow CMC member who is well known across New Mexico for his acumen providing commercial real estate services to a variety of clients for 30+ years.
Before moving to New Mexico in 1975, he lived and worked in New Jersey and New York City. A decorated Naval aviator during the Vietnam conflict, John enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan after he turned 65 because the benefits afforded through the VA weren’t nearly as supportive. When not at work or spending time with his granddaughters, John can be found at the racetrack, competitively racing his vintage Formula Ford. A colon cancer survivor, John takes his health and maintenance seriously, and couldn’t imagine life without his Medicare Advantage plan.
“As we get older, there are many opportunities to refocus on what’s important – Family, business, giving back to your community. One quickly realizes that everything else is predicated on maintaining your health so you can live the life you want, for as long as possible. For me and my family, this is made much easier because of Medicare Advantage. It simply works. I want to thank our members of congress who support Medicare Advantage. Keep fighting for us – it doesn’t go unnoticed.”
Thanks for sharing your story, John!
