Bruce Evans, a coalition member, shared his experience with the SilverSneakers wellness program, which is covered by his Medicare Advantage plan. “We really enjoy the gym membership… It gives us a great opportunity that we otherwise may not have explored,” Bruce noted.

At the end of the meeting, Rep. Fletcher was presented with her Medicare Advantage Champion Certificate. “This is my first certificate! I am going to put it up right now, so everyone can see it,” Rep. Fletcher said, immediately placing it on her conference room shelf.

She also expressed her commitment to working with older Americans to continue to deliver better services, better care, and better value in Texas.
