Coalition member shares Medicare Advantage Insight with Rep. Gil Cisneros

Janel Spelbrink, a Coalition for Medicare Choices member from Minnesota, shared with Rep. Jim Hagedorn (MN-01) how Medicare Advantage helps Minnesotans. Rep. Hagedorn hosted Janel and other health care leaders at his office in northeast Minnesota. 

Janel shared that the regular checkups and prescription medication she receives from her Medicare Advantage plan allow her to address her health needs quickly.  

Even better, the care she and her husband receive goes beyond clinical visits. They are really enjoying the wellness benefits that are included in her plan like gym memberships. “This comes without any additional cost,” she added.  

Rep. Hagedorn thanked Janel for sharing her experience with the program and was thrilled to hear how much she appreciates her benefits. Rep. Hagedorn added that he strongly supports Medicare Advantage and the reliable health care it delivers for millions of seniors.
