During their discussion, our members shared stories about why they love their MA plan. Many shared that the free wellness programs that they receive help them stay happy and healthy. Additionally, they mentioned the program’s affordability. Low out-of-pocket costs allow Americans to have access to better services, better access to care, and better value with an income of as low as $20,000 a year.

Kay, a CMC senior, shared that she signed up for Medicare Advantage over 12 years ago. During 1 of those years, she experienced a series of medical issues, which required multiple surgeries. However, thanks to her Medicare Advantage plan, her out-of-pocket costs were under $1,000.

Rep. O’Halleran expressed his support for Medicare Advantage, telling the group that he himself receives his health care coverage through Medicare Advantage. He agreed that the exercise programs were really vital because they help to keep costs under control and help patients maintain a better quality of life.
