The last few years have been tough for all of us. I have had many health complications and scares including spinal and heart operations. Through it all, I’ve been able to count on my Medicare Advantage plan to cover my needs, all while staying affordable.

Not only does Medicare Advantage positively affect my health, but it also boosts my wallet through its commitment to cost savings. Affordability is one of the most important things in life. Especially when we get older and live on a fixed income, we must have health care coverage we can rely on to be comprehensive yet doesn’t break the bank. Despite my various health issues, my premium did not go up at all. In fact, overall Medicare Advantage 2023 premiums have dropped another 8%. This is truly life-changing for people like me living on a fixed income.

Although the last few years have been complicated, I’m grateful for programs and services such as Medicare Advantage that are benefiting lives like my own. This is one program more Americans should take advantage of.

Sincerely,
Gerry Wrench
