Medicare Advantage is an essential resource

Four out of five senior citizens live with at least one chronic condition in this country. I'm among them, and I turned to Medicare Advantage for help.

I did the research and realized that Medicare Advantage would give me an all-in-one health plan. It’s not just hospital care. Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drugs, preventive screenings and checkups and wellness programs. I use the same card whether I’m at the pharmacy, going for new glasses or using the free fitness membership.

Medicare Advantage is great for managing chronic illness. The plans invest in early diagnosis and proactive treatment, so we can avoid health complications that get expensive or potentially life-threatening. The disease management programs are very helpful, and the care coordination is amazing, especially for those with complicated health situations.

I want to thank Congressman Schrader for his past support of Medicare Advantage, and I hope you will continue to support Medicare Advantage since it has helped keep me healthier even as I deal with a chronic condition.
