The Coalition for Medicare Choices is responding to potential cuts to the Medicare Advantage program, which could reduce health care coverage and benefits for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

We’re just about a week away from Valentine’s Day, and the 2 million members of the Coalition for Medicare Choices are determined to educate Washington about why they love Medicare Advantage. The coalition, the nation’s largest and most influential organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening Medicare Advantage (MA), is responding to potential cuts to the Medicare Advantage program, which could reduce health care coverage and benefits for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Medicare Advantage provides health care coverage to nearly 20 million seniors and individuals with disabilities—making potential reductions harmful to millions of Americans. Medicare Advantage includes a variety of benefits, including many not offered by traditional Medicare, like prescription drug coverage, vision, hearing, and dental benefits.

Medicare Advantage delivers better service, better access to care, and better value, and its popularity continues to rise. In fact, 90 percent of members are satisfied with the choices this vital health program offers.
