Pennsylvanians See Greater Support for Medicare Advantage with Rep. Glenn Thompson’s Help

Coalition member Tom Rishel discusses how Medicare Advantage helps Pennsylvanians with Rep. Thompson.

Continuing our efforts to improve and protect Medicare Advantage, we met with Rep. Glenn Thompson (PA-15) to briefly discuss how the program helps Pennsylvanians. Rep. Thompson was eager to learn more about the program and how it delivers better services, better care, and better value to millions.

Tom Rishel, our Coalition member from Pennsylvania, shared how many of the Medicare Advantage benefits that help keep him healthy have no premiums. This makes it easy for Tom and other older Americans who may live with fixed incomes to have reliable health care at a cost they can afford.

Additionally, we told Rep. Thompson about the 72 different Medicare Advantage plans available to his constituents. By the end of our discussion, Rep. Thompson was impressed with the high quality of access and benefits the program delivers and reaffirmed his strong support for it.

We’re grateful for Rep. Thompson’s dedication and for signing a bipartisan letter this year to protect Medicare Advantage! Thank you, Rep. Thompson!
