Living in my retirement community offers me the opportunity to make friends of similar ages and life stages. I’m glad I now spend my afternoons playing cards, taking walks or just chatting with my neighbors.

As older Americans, our topics of conversation oftentimes revolve around our grandchildren or discussing some of our health complications. Over and over, my neighbors are shocked to hear about what great coverage I receive through my Medicare Advantage plan.

Medicare Advantage offers an abundance of services that have kept me healthy and enjoying my older years. A benefit my friends are especially jealous of is SilverSneakers. Although I get plenty of exercise walking around my retirement community, I’ve heard great stories from people who go to SilverSneakers. As I mentioned before, it’s difficult as you get older to make new friends or get out in the community. SilverSneakers offer that opportunity to their millions of enrollees to make connections while also staying active and healthy.

Without the comprehensive coverage I’ve received through Medicare Advantage, I might not be healthy enough right now to play card games or walk around the block with my newfound friends.
