Millions of Americans are asking their members of Congress to take a stand for Medicare Advantage.

Millions of Americans are asking their members of Congress to take a stand for Medicare Advantage. The advocacy effort is part of The Coalition for Medicare Choices’ annual campaign to prevent harmful cuts to the program.

For the next few weeks, the government will discuss making annual changes to Medicare Advantage — a health care program that delivers better services, better access to care, and better value to millions of Americans 65+ and individuals with disabilities. Medicare Advantage is a crucial program that should be protected from any changes that could limit health care benefits or raises costs for hardworking Americans.

Unlike traditional Medicare, the Medicare Advantage program offers Americans more comprehensive coverage. Many plans include additional benefits without an extra cost. These benefits include:

• Dental care
• Hearing care
• Vision care
• Drug coverage

Additionally, the program delivers more affordability too. Medicare Advantage plans cap out-of-pocket costs. This allows vulnerable Americans with incomes less than $30,000 per year to have access to stable health care.

Today, Medicare Advantage works for more than 23 million Americans. In fact, 93% of the program’s enrollees report being satisfied with their health care plans. To protect and strengthen this, Americans and The Coalition for Medicare Choices are asking members of Congress to protect Medicare Advantage.
