Coalition Members Shared with Representative Mark Pocan How Medicare Advantage Helps Them Stay Happy and Healthy.

This month, our coalition members were able to meet virtually with Representative Mark Pocan. Coalition members shared personal stories about their Medicare Advantage coverage, including its stability and affordability. 

 Barb, a coalition member from Wisconsin, shared how she was grateful to have Medicare Advantage during the COVID-19 crisis and spoke about how she was able to stay healthy using Medicare Advantage’s  telehealth services to virtually visit her doctor and prescription drug delivery. Another Wisconsin coalition member, Rain noted that she appreciated how her Medicare Advantage plan combines her drug coverage with her health coverage and highlighted that Americans 65+ should have options when choosing their health care. Lastly, coalition member Katy shared that Medicare Advantage  saved her husband’s life – and their budget – after he had several hip surgeries.  

Representative Pocan thanked our coalition members for taking the time to meet with him and mentioned that he always appreciates the chance to hear directly from his constituents.
