In my older years, I have come to appreciate the ways that I can keep my costs down. Now, you wouldn’t think that health care would be an area where you gain some financial stability, but with Medicare Advantage, I’m able to receive affordable coverage that also provides me with all the benefits and services I need.

I have a consistently low premium, and on top of that, there is an annual out-of-pocket maximum, so I know that a surprise medical expense will never put me over the edge when it comes to budgeting. And these low costs don’t create any limitations on the benefits I can receive — in fact, I can access even more benefits than original Medicare.

With regular doctor visits at home, I have been able to stay ahead of any illnesses, which also helps me keep costs down. Additionally, if a surprise health issue comes up, like my recent bout of vertigo and blood pressure issues, I know I can get the treatment I need and not worry about draining my retirement account.

I’ve been on Medicare Advantage for three years now, and I look forward to many more years of this great coverage. I appreciate Rep. Scott Fitzgerald’s continued support of the program and look forward to seeing him keep prioritizing senior health in Congress.
