As a couple with different needs, when it came time to pick our health care plans, it was important that we find plans that worked for each of us. This is why we chose Medicare Advantage plans (though with different companies), which have kept us healthy and fit.
Being on a fixed income, the cost of our health care plan is extremely important to us. And we both appreciate that our plans adapted quickly to the changing health of seniors like us. Knowing that seniors were some of the most susceptible to COVID-19, Medicare Advantage plans expanded telehealth, which we used for the first time.
We hope that in the coming years, Congress protects and strengthens Medicare Advantage, ensuring that seniors will continue to have access to these essential plans.
