Americans for Medicare Advantage meet with Representative Frank Pallone’s Staff

New Jersey Coalition members joined Rep. Frank Pallone’s staff in February for a roundtable at his district office in Middletown. During the meeting, Coalition members were assured of the representative’s support for the Medicare Advantage program. Similarly, Rep. Pallone’s staff expressed his appreciation to the Coalition for Medicare Choices for facilitating the gathering, stating that it “really helps when constituents come in to put a face on the program.”

Maryanne, a Coalition member and retired special education teacher, highlighted the Medicare Advantage program’s affordability. Her low co-pays have allowed her to see several different physicians without dipping into her retirement savings. In fact, Medicare Advantage allows most Americans 65+ who make less than $30,000 a year enjoy access to stable health care services.

The attending staff members made it clear that Rep. Pallone supports affordable health care options, including Medicare Advantage. The Coalition for Medicare Choices appreciates Rep. Pallone’s support. His commitment to the program allows roughly half-a-million New Jersey residents to experience better services, better access to care, and better value.
