Survey Says: Americans 65+ Want Congress and the Administration to Protect Medicare Advantage

In a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult on behalf of the Coalition for Medicare Choices, we asked senior voters who are covered by Medicare their opinions on potential cuts to their Medicare coverage. Americans 65+ overwhelmingly agree: Congress and the Biden-Harris Administration should protect Medicare and not make cuts to their Medicare coverage, including Medicare Advantage. Protecting Medicare is a voting issue for a vast majority of senior voters on Medicare, with nearly 80% – including a bipartisan majority of Democrats and Republicans – indicating that they would oppose their member of Congress in their re-election if the member voted to cut Medicare.
